BIOGRAPHY.

bio contains mention of racism, prejudice, bullying & parental death. barbara tanaka miller was born in raleigh, nc, to hannah tanaka and george miller. the youngest of two, the girl had a happy life. her parents were voluntaries to teach english abroad so they spent most of their childhood living in japan & being home-schooled. for that reason, barbie had trouble speaking english.when she was 10, the tanaka-millers decided to return to the usa so barbara’s older brother could have a more soothing transition into high school. for them, however, things were not so simple. people made fun of barbie’s accent and the gap between her teeth and the fact they had never been in a school before. they said she was not white or japanese and she was nothing. it was a hard time, really, only made worse by hannah’s passing the following year. barbie became even more of an introvert, going from “home-school girl” to “dead mom girl.” in summary, middle school was not the best. high school, however, proved to be a bit better.barbie excelled in their classes and she was more participative in clubs that defended other minorities. even then, things weren’t perfect. she only dated once, a cute boy who seemed like the one for her. until he pressured her to have sex, that is. when barbie said no, the boy dumped her and their relationship history has been… abysmal ever since.fast forward to the circle. when the reality show came out, barbie was sure they would never be accepted. but they still applied, on a dare. and then she got in & she decided to be a catfish, using a friend's pictures instead. but then… well, she fell in love and the world watched as she struggled to lie to the first person she had ever loved.VERSES AVAILABLE: fandomless (main), more to be added.
